Sabrina Howard spoke about what it's like to be a visual artist in Jackson, Mississippi and exhibited art to students participating in the Global Citizens Project with Jackson Public Schools.

This project involved 11th-grade scholars in a program focused on global awareness and personal development. The project, funded by the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, included travel to schools and communities in Lagos and Abuja, Nigeria, and a visit to Washington, D.C. Scholars engaged in collaborative learning, developed research and communication skills, and created a multimedia project addressing a global issue.
